EPDM Roof Systems

EPDM stands for ethylene propylene diene monomer, and it’s a synthetic rubber roofing membrane that’s ideal for low-slope and flat roof applications. These roofs are tough, durable, and flexible, and our pros at Top Prestige Roofing know how to achieve perfect, seamless results.

More commonly known as the “rubber roof”, EPDM is an extremely durable thermoset, synthetic rubber roofing membrane widely used in low-slope buildings.

EPDM has two primary ingredients, ethylene and propylene, which are derived from oil and natural gas, available in black or white, come in a wide range of widths, ranging from 7.5 ft to 50 ft, and come in two thicknesses, 45 mils and 60 mils.

EPDM can be installed either fully adhered or mechanically attached or ballasted, with the seams of the roofing system sealed with liquid adhesives or specially formulated tape.
